The Danish Emission Trading Registry in practice

In order to use the Danish Emission Trading Registry, you need access to the internet with Internet Explorer v5.5, Netscape v6.1 or a similar browser as a minimum.

Security
EU and UN security requirements for emission registries are as follows. Account holders and users must ensure that their user ID and password are kept confidential. If an account holder discovers that an unauthorised person has gained access to an account, the account holder must immediately contact the Danish Emission Trading Registry on 0045 33 92 75 11 in order to change the password.

If you have the Danish Emission Trading Registry open and you have to leave your computer, you should log out of the system so that unauthorised persons cannot gain access to your account in the Registry. The Registry automatically cuts off connection if access has not been active for some time. After this you have to log on again using your user ID and password.

The Registry has its own scanning system, but at all events it is advisable to have a virus scanner installed on your own computer.
