The Danish Energy Agency's interactive maps

On the interactive maps you can pan around and zoom in on a number of maps of the Danish energy sector.

Wind turbines
On the interactive map all wind turbines are found, whether they are situated on land or off shore. The basic register of wind turbines is updated every month in conformity with reports received from the power distribution companies and Energinet.dk (grid service provider). The map service is updated annually. The basic register of wind turbines contains in principle all wind turbines in Denmark.

Companies with power supply obligation

Companies with power supply obligation manage sale of power to customers that do not buy power from power trading companies. The map shows the Danish Energy Agency's registration of the areas for which companies with power supply obligation have applied for license.

Power grid companies

Power grid companies manage the running and maintenance of the power distribution grid in a supply area. The map shows the Danish Energy Agency's registration of the areas for which power grid companies have applied for license.

District heat and power production

The map shows power and district heat producing plants in Denmark. The plants are shown as symbols where the shape indicates type of plant and colour indicates main fuel. Smaller plants are only shown in detailed zoom. Town districts are shown with a colour that indicates which main fuel is used to supply district heating grid.

Oil and gas concession
On the map you can find information on Danish oil and gas concessions plus exploration and evaluation drillings.
