Scenarios, analyses and models

Danish Energy Agency is analyzing and evaluating the development in the energy sector. Furthermore the agency is providing guidelines for the methods and assumptions which should be conducted in the energy analyses.

The scenarios
Read about the latest scenarios of developments in the energy sector. In these scenarios are calculated the energy use and production, greenhouse gas emissions from the energy sector and the price of electricity in the Nordic electricity market.

Socio-economic method of analyses

Socio-economic analyses can be used to evaluate how the objectives related to the energy policy are achieved in the most appropriate way. The socio-economic analyses depend on the assumptions used for analysis.

Socio-economic assumptions
Assumptions for socio-economic analyses include assumptions about fuel prices and emission factors. Furthermore, there are calorific values and estimated costs of certain discharges into the air.
