Models

In the preparation of the scenarios and analyses Danish Energy Agency is using a series of economic and technical models.

EMMA
EMMA is a macroeconomic tool describing the energy demand of the industry and households in view of production and energy prices. EMMA is connected to the macroeconomic model ADAM. 

Ramses
Ramses is developed in Danish Energy Agency and describes the production of electricity and district heating as well as the Nordic electricity price given the knowledge of the plants characteristics and fuel prices.

Elmodel-bolig
Elmodel-bolig describes electricity consumption of the households based on various appliances diffusion, effectiveness and useful life. The model is financed by Energinet.dk, Danish Energy Association, Savingtrust and Danish Energy Agency.
