Exploration costs
Below is described the development in exploration costs
The figure below illustrates the development in exploration costs from 2006 to 2010. The preliminary figures for 2010 show that exploration costs dropped by about 65 per cent from 2009 to 2010, the reason being that more deep exploration wells were drilled in 2009. For 2010, total exploration costs are preliminarily estimated at slightly less than DKK 0.5 billion.
In 2011-2013, investments in exploration are expected to total about DKK 2.3 billion.
The activities will include further exploration both onshore and in the Danish part of the North Sea.
