Received applications
The following field development plans have been filed with the
Danish Energy Agency.
Application for further development of the South Arne
Field
The 25th of June 20109 Hess Denmark ApS applied for
approval of Stage 2 in Phase 3 for the further development of the
South Arne Field.
The application is seeking approval for two new platforms and 11
new production wells.
One of the new platforms will be an unmanned wellhead platform
(WHP-N) app. 2,5 km to the North of the existing South Arne
platform. The other new platform will be a wellhead platform
(WHP-E) bridge linked to the existing South Arne platform to the
south of the existing platform. Additional necessary modifications
to support the tie-in of the new facilities to the existing South
Arne infrastructure will be performed.
The total cost is in excess of 5 billion DKK. On the basis of the
new wells it is expected to produce app. 5,6 MMm3 oil and app. 1,2
BNm3 gas.
The application is now being processed by The Danish Energy
Agency.
Application for further development of Lille Torup Gaslager
(gas storage)
On the 4th of September 2008 The Danish
Energy Agency received an application from Energinet.dk Gaslager
A/S for expansion of the gas storage capacity and for extension of
the license by 25 years. The application for the expansion of
storage capacity on 1580 million m3 would come from
leaching of new caverns and re-leaching of old caverns.
The application is now being processed by The Danish Energy
Agency.
Application for a new natural gas storage by Tønder
cityOn the 20th of June 2007 The Danish Energy Authority
received an application for establishing and operation of a new
natural gas storage in a geologic structure partly beneath the city
of Tønder. The applicant is Dansk Gaslager ApS.
The application is now being processed by The Danish Energy
Agency.
