Licensing round information

In 1981 the Danish government and A.P. Møller signed an agreement concerning partial and gradual relinquishment of areas under A.P. Møllers sole concession from 8 July 1962.The relinquished areas have since that time been opened for licensing to the oil industry in several licensing rounds.

The latest rounds - the 4th Round in 1994/95, the 5th Round in 1997/98 and the 6th Round in 2005/2006 comprised all non-licensed areas west of 6°15' E.
