The Danish Energy Agency engages nationally and internationally
in production, supply and consumption of energy - as well as the
efforts to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

The Agency is responsible for the whole chain of tasks linked to
the produc-tion, transportation and utilisation of energy, and the
impact on the climate. The task is to ensure the legal and
political framework for reliable, affordable and clean supply of
energy in Denmark.
The Danish Energy Agency was established in 1976, and is an agency
under the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Buildings.
