In 2007, exports of energy-sector products and consulting
services accounted for 9 pct. of Denmark’s total exports.
In
2007 Danish exports of products and consulting services to the
energy sector amounted to DKK 52 billion (approx. EUR 7 billion),
corresponding to 9 pct. of total Danish exports. The main export
products of exportation are wind turbines, components for district
heating and combined heat and power, knowledge and equipment for
energy efficiency and savings, components for the oil and natural
gas sector, and parts for electricity plants.
The Danish Energy Agency can assist Danish exporters in promoting
energy products. Normally national experts from the Agency
contribute by giving presentations of energy policies or Danish
regulation at seminars or in foreign campaigns.
The Agency has no funding to support exporters financially.
Exporters are advised to apply for financial support from the
Danish Export Council or the Danish Export Fund.
The Danish Energy Agency also takes part in the coordination of
official Danish export campaigns. More information about this can
be obtained on the website of the Danish Ministry of Foreign
Affairs.
