Frederikshavn test turbines
On 3 November, The Danish Energy Agency gave DONG Energy NearshoreLab Frederikshavn licence to establish six offshore test turbines at Frederikshavn for testing foundation types, turbines and other offshore technology.
Anholt offshore wind farm
DONG Energy is going to build and operate Anholt offshore wind farm. The wind farm will be 400 MW and produce electricity equivalent of the consumption of 400,000 households.

Test turbines in Nissum Bredning
On 12 February, The Danish Energy Agency granted Nissum Bredning Vindmøllelaug I/S and Nordvestjysk Elforsyning license to carry out preliminary investigations in an appointed area in Nissum Bredning. The EIA was carried out and sent in public hearing from 24 May to 25 July 2011.
